Maybe after he scolded him for killing Freedom he should mention something like : "Ya you won, you won against someone who is not concentrating in a fight with you, who is trying all his best to escape, who is trying to protect his friends and his sister in the ship, who is not doing any killing (expt destroyer gundam because it is killing everyone and going berserk) but disarmed his opponent pilot, isn't it the only method you used so you could win against him? You used the fact that he will never shoot pilot cockpit, to win against him. Hmm one more part to comment, after Shinn won against Kira ,Freedom (not Strike Freedom pls), I was disappointed with how Athrun defended Kira in verbal. Though I like the features Strike Freedom had, but I dun like the golden parts on it, feel the gundam look very "mature/ older the wiser feel" My friend pieced them up for me when he saw me so into the anime. Normally when I watched these anime shows, I only concentrate on the storyline and characters rather than " the marketing method" Every anime, movie etc exist for reasons right? If you keep looking at "marketing/ vendor making $ out of it" you won't be truly enjoy the show.
Well, it make it more sensible for him to only lose that way since He did not even Lose to Athrun when both of them fight in Seed where they going for real to kill each other, I meant he only "kind of lost when Athrun cannot keep him still but to resort own gundam explosion. The only part make me accept that he lost for real is Kira wasn't concentrating in the fight but thinking all ways to escape both for him and archangel. Well, I don't like it either, the first time I watched the episode where Kira lose to Shinn. It feels like they are given new swords to execute their new will to do something about the chaotic world. I think its more meaningful as they add in more features to their new gundams: Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice when the characters have a clearer mind what they want to achieve from this second war. Though I like seed better but the destiny story made me feel it had to exist for a purpose.Tthe duo models too. Really? but for me, I have rewatched these Gundam seed and destiny endlessly even right now.
